Partners:

University of Oulu, Finland (lead), Luleå University of Technology, Sweden.

The overall objective of the project is to develop new methods to help to improve the design of mining structures and minimize the risks and environmental impacts of mining in Arctic environments.

This will be achieved by combining novel hydrological and structural modelling with remote sensing surveillance techniques.
