News! The seminar program is now available for download-Norut invites you to Midnight Sun Seminar 23-24 August 2012: Two days with new knowledge, new acquaintances and new cooperation opportunities. The seminar aims to gather people from the research sector, academia and industry, as well as local and regional decision-makers.

The title of this year's seminar is "Using Solar Energyin the North" and under this theme we will explore opportunities and challenges. The seminar will cover


  • Photovoltaic systems
  • Solar heating
  • The solar resource in the north

This year's event is a continuation of the successful Midnight Sun Conference 2011 which was held in conjunction with prosjektet NoE - Energy in Cold Climate. See more details and pictures from last year here.
